John Brown rites Friday, May 10, 1991 - John W. Brown 73, of Guttenberg died Tuesday, May 7, 1991 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Guttenberg City Cemetery with military rites accorded. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-9 Thursday.

Mr. Brown was born Feb. 14, 1918 in rural Millville, a son of George and Lucy (Lange) Brown. He farmed until 1972 when he moved to Guttenberg. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Brown is survived by a sister, Rita Farmer of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
