Amy Anna Scrogum

Amy A. Scrogum, 85, McGregor, Iowa died Friday, october 18, 1991, at the Great River Care Center, McGregor.

Amy was born August 1, 1906, in McGregor to Charles and Minnie Geske Gerndt. She was raised and educated in McGregor. Amy married Norman Scrogum in 1936, and Norman died September 12, 1966. She was a member of the UCC Congregational Church of McGregor.

Survivors Include one daughter, Beverly Sheckel of Wauzecka, WI, six grandchildren, one sister, Helen Grossheim, McGregor; two brothers-in-law, Lawrence Lindemann and Esten Williams, both of McGregor.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Thornburg Funeral Home, McGregor. Rev. Robert Williams officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, rural McGregor.

Amy Scrogum was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and five sisters.

Thornburg Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements.
