Willman Rites are held here... Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday afternoon from the Guttenberg Methodist Church for Henry J. Willman, 62, well known Guttenberg businessman, and former operator of Willman's store in Osterdock, who died in his sleep sometime in the early morning hours of Monday April 11, 1966.
The services are to be conducted by Rev. Gerald Schimmelpfennig, pastor of the Methodist church, and burial was to be in the Guttenberg City cemetery in charge of the Tuecke funeral home. Pallbearers were to be Parnell Fredlake, H. B. Tangeman, Fred Schrader, and Earl Herzog.
Mr. Willman was born April 25, 1914 at Elkport, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Willman; and on February 28, 1928 he married Modesta Hilvers in Dubuque. They were the parents on one son.
Surviving Mr. Willman are Mrs. WIllman and their son Keith, of Guttenberg, as well as two grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Arthur Willman of Garber, and Edward Willman of Edgewood, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Fritz of Elkport and Mrs. Anna Moser of Osterdock.
For the past several years Mr. Willman has owned and operated the Town and Country grocery store in Guttenberg.
