O. H. BAILEY BURIED TUESDAY AFTERNOON

Oliver Heenan Bailey, Harpers Ferry man, passed away at his home Sunday, April 12, at the age of 84 years. Death was attributed to affirmities of age.

Born in Geneva, Pa., on May 19, 1858, the son of William and Sarah Bailey. Mr. Bailey came to Allamakee County in 1924. He formerly lived in McGregor. On January 25, 1888, he was united in marriage to Miss Annie Eno. Ten children were born to this union. Seven preceded their father in death. Mrs. Bailey passed away many years ago.

Surviving are Myrtle, Birdette and Wilson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at McGregor with the Reverend H.C. Culver officiating. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
