Louise A. Wegner

Graveside services for Louise A. Wegner, 94, Gainesville, FL were held Thursday morning in the Postville cemetery. Rev. David Palm of St. Paul Lutheran church officiated.

Louise Wegner was born October 3, 1890 in Clayton County, [daughter of Enno and Marie Bugenhagen Lubbers]. She died July 28 at Community Convalescent Center, Gainseville (sic).

She was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, March 21, 1911. She married Charles Wegner.

She moved to Gainesville, FL 15 years ago from Detroit, MI. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen M. Hunt of Gainesville; a son, Harlan C. Wegner, Detroit; a brother, Henry Lubbers, Farmersburg; 4 grandchildren, Mark and Christine Bennett of Gainesville, William and Linda Hunt, of Gainesville, and nieces and nephews.

Postville Herald newspaper clipping, hand dated 1985, from my mother's obituary collection. Submitter has no further information.
