Mrs. CLIFFORD (Darlene Esther Kliefoth) WILKER 1927-1996

Darlene Esther Wilker, daughter of Elmer and Cora (Bahls) Kliefoth, was born June 27, 1927 at Luana, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Clifford Wilker on May 3, 1948 at Monona, IA. To this union, five children were born.

Darlene was a member of the Legion Auxiliary. She was a 4-H Leader for the Luana Sunny Sues for 10 years.

Darlene died Saturday, August 17, 1996 at the Prarie (sic) Memorial Hospital, Prarie (sic) Du (sic) Chien, WI.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford; one son, Larry Wilker and his wife, Kim, of Prarie (sic) Du (sic) Chien, WI; four daughters: Diane and her husband, Doug Whittle of Des Moines, IA, Gloria and her husband, Ron Mahannah, of Dubuque, IA, Karla Wilker of Torrance, CA, and Carol Nance of Indianola, IA; her mother, Cora Kliefoth; [grandchildren] Scott Wilker and his fiance, Brandee Wachter, Melissa Wilker, Amy Wilker, Blair Whittle, Rayn Mahannah, Kyle Mahannah, Ashley Nance and Alissa Nance, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private funeral services were held Wednesday, August 21, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona. Rev. Terry Hudson officiated. Pallbearers were Virgil Thompson, Don Dutka, Stan Marovets, Randy Williams, Ronnie H. Miller and Vernon Hoth. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Monona. Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona was in charge of services.

Darlene Esther Wilker, 69, died Saturday, August 17, 1996, in Prairie Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, after a lingering illness.

Private family services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Schultz Funeral Home, where friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Burial: St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother, Cora Kliefoth of Monona, Iowa; her hus­band, Clifford of Monona; a son, Larry of Prairie du Chien; and four daughters, Dianne Whittle of Des Moines, Iowa; Gloria Mahannah of Dubuque, Iowa; Karla Wilker of Torrance, California; and Carol Nance of Indianola, Iowa.
