Mrs. HARLAN C. (Arzella Grace Stansberry) WILKE 1920-1989
Arzella Grace Wilke was born August 3, 1920 in Moulton, Iowa, to parents Carl and Charity Camel Stansberry. She was baptized in 1932 in Moulton Methodist Church and confirmed April 26, 1987 at Garden City United Methodist Church in Monona.
On August 7, 1965 Arzella was united in marriage to Harlan Carl Wilke in Decorah, Iowa. The couple made their home in Monona. Arzella worked for Advanced Transformer Corp. for eight years and Iowa Turkey Products in Postville for 17 years. She retired in 1987.
Arzella died at her home Sunday, December 17, 1989. She was a member of Garden City United Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Harlan, who died Feb 14, 1988; three brothers and one sister.
Surviving is step-son, James Watt of Prairie du Chien, WI; one sister, Mary Edgington of Ottumwa and three brothers, Lloyd and Robert Stansberry, both of Ottumwa and Gene Stansberry of Moulton.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 21, 1989, at 11:00 a.m. at Garden City United Methodist Church in Monona. Rev. Gary Dobbins officiating. Organist, Ric Benzing. Burial was in Luana City Cemetery, Luana, Iowa. Pallbearers were Jason Ferguson, Albert Moose, Milo Timmerman, Gary Kottman, Lee Rubendall, Leland Halvorson. Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona in charge of services.
