William G. Ruegnitz, 66, died Thursday, December 13, 2006, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a resident of Emory, Texas. He was born August 15, 1940 in Elkport, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1963 and then went to work for Skelly Refinery in 1963 until 1997.

Survivors include: his sons, Grant Ruegnitz and wife Kathy of Menominee, Wisconsin, Max Ruegnitz and wife Ryan of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Kenneth Wiseman and wife Shannon of El Dorado; daughter, Stephanie Macy and husband Bob of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters Barb Lanning of Columbia, Maryland, and Judy Ellis and husband David of Newark, California; grandsons: Kyle, Rodge and Maverick; granddaughters, Jenna, Mattie and Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Frances Ruegnitz; and wife Janice Marie Ruegnitz in June 2006.
