Marilyn Maxine Hoth
Funeral services were held for Marilyn Maxine Hoth, 63, Saturday October 2, 1993, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Monona. Rev. Terry Hudson officiated with burial in the Monona City Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dennis Cook, Clifford Knudtson, Linn Heithoff, Randy Hoth, Alan Hoth, and David Hoth.
Marilyn Maxine Hoth , daugher of Arthur J. and Margaret Oldag Wagner, was born February 18, 1930, at Monona, Iowa. She was baptized May 21, 1930, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Postville, by Rev. R.B. Garten. She was confirmed April 2, 1944, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Postville by Rev. F.R. Ludwig and graduated from the Luana Consolidated high School in 1947. On December 10, 1947, she was united in marriage to Reuben Hoth at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Postville. To this union five children were born. Marilyn was a past president of the W.E.L.C.A. and a member of the Hope Circle. She taught Sunday School at Luana and Monona, and was the church librarian at Monona. Marilyn Hoth died Wednesday, September 29, 1993, at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.
Survivors include her husband, Reuben; a daughter, Gayle (Mrs. Linn) Heithoff of Harvard, Illinois; three sons, Randy of Shorewood, Wisconsin, Alan of Monona, and David of Champaign, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Karina, Toni, Neil, Andreanna and Trevor Hoth, and John and Kristen Heithoff; a sister, Ardyth Cook of Postville, one nephew and two nieces.
Preceding her in death were her son Leland; parents, and a brother Karlton.

Marilyn Maxine Hoth
Marilyn Maxine Hoth, daughter of Arthur J. and Margaret Oldag Wagner, was born Feb. 18, 1930 at Monona, Iowa. She died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1993 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon. She was 63.
She was baptized May 21, 1930 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, by Rev. R. B. Garten. She was confirmed April 2, 1944 at St. Paul's, in Postville, by Rev. F. R. Ludwig. She graduated from the Luana Consolidated High School in 1947.
On Dec. 10, 1947 she married Reuben Hoth at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. To this union five children were born. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother.
Marilyn was past president of the W.E.L.C.A., and a member of the Hope Circle. She taught Sunday School at Luana and Monona, and was the church librarian at Monona.
Preceding her in death were her son, Leland; her parents; and a brother, Karlton.
Survivors include her husband, Reuben; a daughter and her husband, Gayle and Linn Heithoff of Harvard, Ill.; three sons, Randy and his wife Kathleen of Shorewood, Wis., Alan and Gwen Hoth of Monona, and David of Champaign, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Audrey Hoth of Iowa City; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Karina, Toni, Neil, Andreanna and Trevor Hoth, and John and Kristen Heithoff; sister, Ardyth Cook of Postville; one nephew and two nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 2, 1993 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, the Rev. Terry Hudson officiating. Honorary casket bearers were Marilyn's grandchildren. Casket bearers were Dennis Cook, Clifford Knutson, Linn Heithoff, Randy Hoth, Alan Hoth, and David Hoth. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery. Schultz's Funeral home of Monona was in charge of services.
