Obituary
Wednesday evening, March 30th, 1910, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kluth, occurred the death of their son John after a short illness. He was born August 29th, 1894, in Wagner township, and at the time of his death was 15 years, 7 months, and 1 day of age.
During his illness he was a patient sufferer, always waiting for better or worse. All that loving hands could do was done until about 10:00 o’clock, when God took John home. He was kind and good at home as well as at school and will be greatly missed by all. Six of his schoolmates carried him to his last resting place. The pall bearers were Earl Knudtson, Floyd Orvis, Henry Aveson, Oscar Ronquist and William Henning. He leaves to mourn his loss his father, mother, three brothers and two sisters, George, Joseph, Leroy, and Minnie, who are still at home, and Mrs. John Hook of Elkader, Ia., also an aged grandmother and other relatives and friends. May God comfort them and grant all a happy reunion in that better land where there is no pain, nor death, nor parting. The funeral was held Saturday, April 2nd, at the German Lutheran church at Farmersburg. Services were conducted by Rev. Pett, assisted by Rev. Arveson, of St. Olaf. Burial in the Farmersburg cemetery.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.God in His wisdom has recalled,
The boon His love has given; And though his body moulders here,
His souls is safe in Heaven.Alas, dear Jesus took him,
But we know that all is fair,For we’ll love and pray
Till judgement day
Then we’ll meet our loved ones there.Card of Thanks
We most courteously extend our sincere thanks to neighbors and friends for their appreciated kindness shown to the deceased through the sickness, death, and burial of our beloved son and brother.MR. AND MRS. WM. H. KLUTH
