Deaths

Strawberry Point -- Jennie Anna Burgett, 68, at her home here Tuesday after a sudden illness; born Nov. 6, 1882, the daughter of William and Margaret (Schroeder) Susie, at Volga, Ia; married Nov. 11, 1943, to Delos Burgett, at Volga; had lived seven years at the place of her death and was a member of the Methodist church and the OES at Strawberry Point; was a former school teacher; leaves husband, Delos Burgett, Strawberry Point; a brother, Fred Susie, Kenyon, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Frank Phillips, of Volga; a stepdaughter Mrs. Howard Colton, Waterloo; two stepsons, Robert and Faye, Strawberry Point, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Don Colton, Lamont; seven grandchildren; was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William and a sister, Edith; funeral was Thursday.
