Oelwein - Mrs. Jeanette Emblom, 66, died at Mercy hospital here Wednesday; born Jan. 15, 1885, at Volga City, daughter of Joseph and Lilly (Speed) Ewing; had been a resident of Oelwein the last 55 years; a member of the VFW auxiliary; leaves husband, Robert; three sons, Joseph Wilkins, Ackley; William, Iowa City, and Robert Jr., Oelwein; three daughters, Mrs. George Linder, Mrs. Eugene Dempsey, and Leah Witkins, all of Oelwein; four sisters, Mrs. George Kleiman, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Alice DeMerra, Sioux City; Mrs. Ivan Del LaHunt, Hettinger, N.D., and Mrs. Alta Becker, Reading, Vt.; body at the Brant funeral home; funeral at 2 p.m. Friday from the Presbyterian church; burial in Woodlawn cemetery.
