Marilyn Joan Freilinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Freilinger of Monona, and Gerald E. Fett, son of Mrs. Art Ricker of Monona, were united in marriage, Jan. 29, at the St. Patrick's church in Monona, with the Rev. Luke Donlon officiating. Miss Lorraine Freilinger, Monona, sister of the bride was maid of honor, and Miss Mary Lou Marting of Monona, cousin of the groom, was bridesmaid. Roderick Freilinger, Monona, brother of the bride, was best man. Bernard Bonnenberger, Omaha, Nebr., Lloyd Freilinger, Monona, brother of the bride, and Robert Fett, Monona, cousin of the groom, were ushers. Diedre Pederson, Marquette, was flower girl and Gordy Van Brocklin, Hopkins, Minn., cousin of the groom, was ringbearer. Pat Freilinger, brother of the bride, and John Ryan, friend of the groom, were acolytes. Mrs. John Moore of Monona, the bride's grandmother, was present at the ceremony.
The new couple plan to live in Long Beach, Calif.
The bride graduated from Monona high school in 1953, and has since been employed as secretary at the University of Minnesota. The groom graduated from Monona high school in 1951, and just recently received his discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps after three years' service.
