Bissell - Kurth marriage - 1953

Wedding vows were exchanged Wednesday, Nov. 10, at St. John's Lutheran church at Farmersburg, by Miss Gale Kurth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Kurth of Luana, and A3/c John Bissell, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bissell of Elkader. The Rev. R. H. Steege officiated. Miss Marlene Kurth served her sister as maid of honor. Miss Hulda Bissell, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. John Lowell, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man, and Ronald Honn served as groomsman.

The groom returned to Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, where he is stationed.
