Garms - Wenger marriage - 1953

VOLGA CITY: The marriage of Miss Barbara Lou Wenger, youngest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Wenger and Russell Garms, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garms took place, Nov. 21 at Monona. The Rev. R. C. Schleuter, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran church, officiated. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Peterson of Waterloo, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.

The bride, a 1950 graduate of the Volga high school, has been employed at Waverly the past two years. The groom attended the Monona school and is now employed at the Dubuque Packing Co., in Dubuque, where the couple will reside.
