Miss Bonnie Jean Entwisle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Entwisle, became the bride of Edward H. Smith of Volga, son of Richard Smith of Oelwein, Thurs., Oct. 15, in Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Betty Christianson of Des Moines was maid of honor, and Miss Jacquiline Smith served as bridesmaid. Clyde Smith of Arlington, cousin of the groom, served as best man and Orville Dale Entwisle, brother of the bride, was attendant.
At the reception, Mrs. Ray Koehn was the waitress and Mrs. Duane Tieden and Miss Rita Entwisle opened the gifts. They are all sisters of the bride.
The bride has been employed with N.W. Bell Telephone Co. at Elkader the past three years and the groom was recently discharged from four years' service with the Navy.
The new couple will be at home in Fayette, where the groom is employed with Interstate Power Co.
