MONONA: At St. Paul's Lutheran church at Monona, Aug. 27, occurred the marriage of Miss Berna Brownson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brownson, to Joe R. Lambert of Manchester. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Lorin Dettman served as matron of honor, and Miss Eleanor Schlueter of Madison, Wis., was bridesmaid. Alan Riedesel of Albany, Ill., served as best man, and Donald Hubacher was groomsman. Donald Huinker and Ronald Blumhagen were ushers. Douglas and Steven Hoth of McGregor, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.
The bride is a graduate of Monona high school and has received a bachelor of arts degree from Iowa State college. She is an instructor in homemaking in the public schools at Dike, Iowa. Mr. Lambert is a graduate of the Manchester high school and has a bachelor of arts degree from Iowa State Teachers college. He is stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas, where he is continuing his study of radar.
