Troester - Garaghty marriage - 1945

Miss Marjonell Garaghty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Garaghty of Elkader, became the bride of Raymond Troester, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Troester of Garnavillo, Wednesday, Feb. 07th, at St. Joseph's church. Rev. Msgr. Taken officiated. The bride was attended by a friend and the groom was attended by his cousin, LaVern Troester of Guttenberg.

Mrs. Troester was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School and was employed at the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. as a local operator and at the Checkerboard Cafe for the past two years. The couple will make their home on the Oscar Auer farm at Garnavillo.
