Christensen - Miller marriage - 1945

Miss Jeanette Miler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Miller of Strawberry Point, and Emory Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Christensen of West Union, were married here, Jan. 31, at the Methodist church. Rev. R. Park Anderson officiated. Attendants were Mrs. Homer Miller of Sabula, Ia., and Edward Christensen of West Union. Ushers were Meryle and Beryle Christensen of West Union, twin sisters of the groom.

The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point school, has been employed as a clerk in Elkader and of late has been a clerk in Wenger's store here. The groom is a graduate of West Union high school and has since been engaged in farming. They will live on a farm near West Union.
