Juvik - Staack marriage - 1943

Miss Winnifred Staack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Staack of St. Olaf, became the bride of Bertin Juvik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Juvik of Elkader, Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Zion's Lutheran church at Clayton Center. Dr. S. J. Strandjord, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church at St. Olaf, officiated. Miss Agnes Juvik, sister of the groom, attended the bride, while Harold Dahl, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Little Dorothy Davis of McGregor, niece of the groom, acted as flower girl.

Mrs. Juvik is a graduate of the Elkader high school and for the past year has been employed in Carter's Clover Farm store in Elkader. The groom received his education in the rural schools.

The new couple will make their home on the groom's parent's farm, six miles north of Elkader.
