Kenneally - Dinan marriage - 1947

KENNEALLY, DINAN, CASSUTT, MATT

St. Michael's Catholic church, Garber, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Mary V. Dinan and John J. Kenneally, Monday, Nov. 24. The Rev. Loras Holmberg officiated. The nuptial selections were sung by Mrs. Anastacia Cassutt, cousin of the bride. Miss Helen Dinan, Waterloo, and Naamen Harem, Grundy Center, attended the couple. The bride is the daughter of the late Mrs. Margaret Dinan of Littleprt, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Kenneally of Elkader.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mrs. Earl Matt, sister of the bride.

Mrs. Kenneally was a graduate of the Littleport public school and Elkader junior college. She has been teaching in the Elkport public school. Her husband was graduated from the Littleport public school and served several years in service. Since then he has been engaged in farming.
