Fennell - Johnson marriage - 1947

The marriage of James D. Fennell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Fennell of Wadena, and Miss Gladys Mae Johnson, daughter of Mrs. Louis Anderson of Clermont, took place Saturday at the Sacred Heart rectory in Volga. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. D. T. Noonan, pastor. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Leonhart of Wadena.

The bride graduated from Clermont high school in 1945, and has been a typist at Monroe, N.C. The groom graduated in 1943 from the Wadena high school and spent over three years in the service. Since his return he has been farming with his father.
