LITTLEPORT: Miss Ilo Beck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Beck, became the bride of LeRoy Glawe, Edgewood, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Glawe of Lttleport, Oct 23, at the Hope Lutheran church. The Rev. W. G. Webber oficiated. Gwendolyn Beck sang two selections, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Violet Beck. Attendants were the bride's sister, Miss Ruth Beck, and Lester Glawe, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Alvin Glawe and Gerald Beck.
After the ceremony a three course dinner was served, at which was served a three tier wedding cake baked by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Gretchen Hochhaus.
The bride attended Upper Iowa University at Fayette and for the past three years has taught in the public schools at Waucoma and Colesburg. The groom is engaged in farming near Littleport, where the new couple will make their home.
