Miss Rachel Connor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Connor, Monona, and Lester Engelhardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Engelhardt, Farmersburg, were married Wednesday, July 16, in St. Mary's church, McGregor. The Rev. Father V. J. Peters officiated. Attending the couple were Miss Julia Schoulte, RN, Cedar Rapids, and Gene Connor, cousin and brother of the bride. Mrs. Engelhardt is a graduate of St. Joseph high school and Elkader junior college. She has been teaching in Clayton county. The new home will be made on the groom's farm south of Monona.
