Miss Mary Rita Ehrhardt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ehrhardt, and Gerald Mulroney, son of Mrs. Peter Mulroney of Mallard, were united in marriage Thursday, June 26., at St. Joseph's church in Elkader. The Very Rev. Bernard Skahill, Ph.D., officiated. Leo Frommelt and Raymond Cassutt served as acolytes. The bride's sister, Lavonne Ehrhardt, played the processional and recessional and a prelude before the ceremony. Sister Mary Leo, Dubuque, great-aunt of the bride, sang an "Ave Maria" during the ceremony. Miss Eileen Ehrhardt, Chicago, served her sister as maid-of-honor, while James Oliver, Emmetsburg, attended his uncle as best man. Michael Mulroney and Michael Roach, cousins of the bride and bridegroom, served as ushers.

A three course wedding breakfast was served at St. Joseph's hall to 40 guests. Hostesses were Miss Virginia Ehrhardt, sister of the bride, and Misses Kathleen and Mary Vivian Mulroney, sisters of the bridegroom.

The couple will be at home in Des Moines, where the bridegroom is employed in an office of the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company.

Mrs. Mulroney is a graduate of St. Joseph's school and of Clarke college, Dubuque. She has taught music in Iowa, Portland, Ore., and New York City.
