Szemkus - Hall marriage - 1940

Miss Delores Hall, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hall of Elkport, became the bride of Walter Szemkus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Szemkus of this place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Michael's church in Garber, with the Rev. J. J. Olinger officiating at the nuptial mass. The bride was attended by her sister, Eileen Hall, and Ralph Szemkus, brother of the groom, was best man. The bride attended Iowa State Teachers college and has been teaching in the Clayton county schools. The groom is a prominent farmer in this county.
