Smith - Otterbeck marriage - 1940

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Yula Otterbeck, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Otterbeck of Strawberry Point, and Roger K. Smith, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Smith of Lamont, were united in marriage at the Emanuel Lutheran church Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock, the Rev. Max O. Jahr officiating. The attendants were Miss Evelyn Gamm and Bradley Hopper. The new couple's home will be at Lamont, where the groom has a position with the Standard oil Co. Both graduated from the Lamont consolidated school, Mr. Smith in 1936 and Mrs. Smith in 1938.
