MARRIED - On Thursday, the 15th inst., at Farmersburg, by the Rev. Simon Alger, Thomas W. Linder, of this place, to Miss Mary McCollum, daughter of John McCollum of Clayton.

Note: the newspaper is clearly dated 1/2/1861 so the use of "inst" (meaning same month), was an error. December 15, 1860 was not a Thursday, but November 15, 1860 was. Researchers should verify the date of this marriage.
