STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Vernita Schoeppe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Schoeppe of this place, became the bride of Arthur Elliot of Oelwein, son of Mrs. Edith Elliot of Aurora, Wednesday. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. Carrie V. Lucas officiated. The attendants were Mrs. Kenneth Ottesen of Cedar Rapids, a sorority sister of the bride, and Mr. Milton Elliot of Aurora, brother of the groom.

Mrs. Elliot graduated from the Strawberry Point high school in 1932, attended Coe college at Cedar Rapids and the University of ______, _____, _____. She is affiliated with the Chi Omega sorority, Meridian Literary society, Y.W.C.A., AWS, Vesper choir, W.A.A. and the girls glee club. Mr. Elliot is a graduate of the Lamont consolidated school. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity and is employed in the C. A. Schoeppe livestock buying station at Oelwein.

The new couple will be at home after Oct. 15 at 105 1/2 First Ave., N.E., in Oelwein.
