Kaiser - Drahn marriage - 1938

Monona: Miss Verda Mae Drahn, youngest daughter of Mrs. Mamie Drahn of Monona, was married Tuesday in the local Lutheran church to Gerhard Kaiser, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldo Kaiser of Garnavillo. Miss Eileen Drahn, a relative of both the contracting parties, sang "O Perfect Love," and "Savior, O Follow On." Miss Marie Voelke, cousin of the groom, served as bridesmaid, The groom was attended by Louis Meyer, a cousin of the bride. The groom is a graduate of the Garnavillo high school and also attended Iowa State college. The bride is a graduate of the Monona high school. After Nov. 01st the new couple will be at home at the Eldo Kaiser farm northwest of Garnavillo.
