Dunn - Downey marriage - 1938

A pretty wedding was solemnized in St. Joseph's Catholic church yesterday, June 14th, when Miss Stella Downey of this place was united in marriage to Mr. Carroll Dunn of Colorado Springs, Colo. The Rev. James P. Taken performed the ceremony, while the nuptial mass was read by the Rev. J. J. Horsfield of McGregor. The attendants were Mrs. Hoyt Klemme of Belmond, a sister of the bride, and Mr. Albert Dunn of Marshalltown, a brother of the groom. Donald and Francis Downey, nephews of the bride acted as the Mass servers. The new couple will make their home at Colorado Springs, Colo.
