STTRAWBERRY POINT: Last Wednesday, in the Congregational church, occurred the wedding of Miss Cirila Slagle, daughter of Mrs. Carrie Slagle of Strawberry Point, and Eiler Jensen, son of Mrs. Agnes Linderman of Elkader. Rev. Carrie V. Lucas, pastor, officiated. Miss Doris Patrick of Macomb, Ill., a Kappa Delta sorority sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and LeRoy Ehrhardt of Elkader was best man. The ushers were John Meyer of Strawberry Point, and Donald Howard of Manchester. The bride graduated from the local public school in 1928 and attended Grinnell college for two years, and two years at the University of Iowa, receiving her B.A. degree in 1932. She has been employed in the local schools for some time and in the office of the Strawberry Point Farmers creamery. The groom is assistant manager of the Elkader Co-operative Co. They will be at home in Elkader after July 01.
