Carson - Meyer marriage - 1938

St. Joseph's church was the scene of the wedding, Saturday, of Miss Loretta Meyer, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Meyer, and C. W. Carson, son of John Carson of Lovilia, Iowa. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Taken. Miss Phyllis Hand and Leroy Meyer, brother of the bride, were the attendants.

Mrs. Carson is a graduate of St. Joseph's school in the class of 1930 and for the past six years has been a waitress in Hand's Cafe. Mr. and Mrs. Carson will be at home in Waterloo, where Mr. Carson is foreman in a concrete material company.
