LUANA: a very pretty wedding occurred Wednesday at the Lutheran church, wen Miss Lorene Knuth, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Knuth, became the bride of Mr. Bernhardt Palas, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Palas of St. Olaf. Rev. Kumpf officiated. Ivan Schultz, cousin of the groom, and Harold Kumpf served as ushers. Ivanelle Becker, cousin of the bride, and Ella Pann_ke, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. Mrs. Alfred Thiese, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Jeanette Becker, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Alfred Thiese was the groom's attendant. Miss Ada Schultz, cousin of the groom, sang "Wither Thou Goest" and "O Promise Me." The new couple will be at home on a farm near Farmersburg after March 01.
