Berns - Farmer marriage - 1936

At Sacred Heart church at Cox Creek, Tuesday, occurred the wedding of Miss Mae Farmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Farmer of Strawberry Point, to Raymond Berns of Garnavillo. The Rev P. J. Boyle officiated. The couple were attended by Miss Clara Farmer, sister of the bride, and Omar Zapf, cousin of the groom. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to the bridal party at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Paul Olinger. The couple will make their home on the groom's farm near Garnavillo.
