Frieden - Medberry marriage - 1923

FRIEDEN, MEDBERRY

Last Wednesday, Aug. 29th, Mr. Elmer Frieden and Miss Lena Medberry were united in marriage at the home of the bride's father, G. E. Medberry, in Highland township. Rev. Deo. Butler officiated. The Misses Elsie Yearous, Bessie Chapman, Hazel Frieden and Edith Frieden were bride's maids, while Eva Mae Frieden acted as ring bearer. Rex Medberry was best man. The new couple left Thursday on an auto tour of the western part of the state to visit relatives and friends. Upon their return they will make their home with the groom's parents for a time before engaging in farming and establishing a home of their own.
