Tieden - Gottschalk marriage - 1923

Yesterday (Wednesday), Sept. 19, Miss Mildred Dorothy Gottschalk was united in marriage to Mr. Raymond G. Tieden, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gottschalk of Boardman township. Rev. C. H. Franke, of the Evangelical church, officiated. The attendants were Miss Irma Stemmer and Fred Heiden, close friends of the young couple. Mr. Tieden is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tieden of Cox Creek township. He is secretary of the Elkader Fair and Livestock Exposition and holds other important positions in his township. The young couple will go to housekeeping on a farm near Communia.
