Moats - Oldfather marriage - 1934

MOATS, OLDFATHER

Last Thursday evening, at the home of the bride's parents, occurred the marriage of Miss Fern I. Oldfather, of Strawberry Point, and Lyle D. Moats, of Volga. Rev. Thomas J. Elwick officiated. The attendants were Miss Helen Moats and Irving Moats, sister and brother of the groom. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Oldfather. She graduated from Strawberry Point public school in 1933. The groom is a son of Abe Moats of Volga and graduated from the Volga public school in 1931. After a short wedding trip the newlyweds will make their home in Volga.
