The marriage of Miss Helen Meyer, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Meyer of Farmersburg, and Alois Kadlec, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kadlec of McGregor, took place at the St. John's Lutheran church in Farmersburg on June 1st. The Rev. H. M. Adix, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Richards, sister of the groom, was matron of honor, and Clarion Walter, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Evelyn Fuelling and Florine Walter, cousins of the bride, were flower girls. Carl Fuelling, cousin of the bride, served the groom as best man and Mr. Richards was also an attendant. Mrs. Kadlec is a graduate of the Monona High school and attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. Mr. Kadlec is a prominent farmer. The newlyweds will be at home on the August Meyer farm.
