The Little Brown church at Nashua was the scene when the nuptial knot was tied between Elsa Marie Johansen and Harvey Christofferson, the ceremony performed by Rev. Kent of the First Presbyterian church. The ceremony was performed on Oct. 18, the wedding anniversary of the bride's parents. The bridal couple were attended by Marie Koenig and John Johansen, Jr. Margaret and Marjorie Johansen, twin nieces of the bride served as flower girls and ring bearers. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Johansen of Gunder, and is a graduate of the Elkader High School in the class of '25. The groom is a son of Mrs. Mary Christofferson of Postville, and is a graduate of the Postville High School and is rural mail carrier out of Postville. The couple will go on a short motor trip and upon their return will be at home in Postville.
