Rugland - Benson marriage - 1929

Cora G. Benson and Vernon L. Rugland were married at the Norway Lutheran church on Saturday, Oct. 26, the ceremony performed by Rev. S. J. Strandjord. The bridal couple were attended by Miss Alma Rugland, sister of the groom, and Perry Benson, brother of the Bride. The bride is a daughter of O. M. Benson, of near St. Olaf, and a graduate of Waldorf college, having taught several years in this community. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Rugland and is employed by the St. Olaf Commission Co. The bridal couple departed on an auto tour to parts in southern, Iowa, after which they will reside at St. Olaf.
