The marriage of Miss Sara Wolter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wolter of Guttenberg, and Mr. Jack Klaes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Klaes of Riceville, took place at St. Mathias Catholic church at Muscatine on Tuesday, January 31st, the Rev. Father Vincent Walsh officiating. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klaes of West Liberty, brother and sister-in-law of the groom. The bride grew to womanhood here and graduated from St. Mary's high school. The groom is well known in Guttenberg. He has a position as carpenter with the A. R. Coffeen Construction Co. of Decorah. For the present the couple will make their home at Ellsworth, Wis., where the groom is working.
