Meisner - Carnicle marriage - 1928

A pretty but quiet wedding took place last Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock when Miss Gertrude Carnicle, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Carnicle, this place, and Ransom Meisner, only son of Mrs. Anna Meisner, of Elkader, was solemnized in St. Mary's parsonage, Rev. John Bowen officiated. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. A. Cheeseman, of Elkader, cousins of the groom. After a motor trip to Sioux Falls, S.D., the couple will be at home at Elkader.
