Miss Helen Purvis and Isle Hitchcock were united in marriage Thursday morning, June 28th, at the Sacred Heart church, Rev. Goetzinger, of Garber, officiating. They were attended by Miss Frances Purvis, sister of the bride, and Gerald Hitchcock, brother of the groom. The newlyweds departed on a motor trip to Minneapolis, after which they will reside on a farm four miles south of Littleport after July 5th. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Purvis and is a 1928 graduate of the Littleport High School. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hitchcock and also a graduate of the local high school with the class of 1925.
