Steinberg - Baumgartner marriage - 1928

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the St. Sebald Lutheran church when Miss Gertrude Caroline Baumgartner, of this place, became the bride of Elmer Steinberg, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, Rev. E. R. Melchert officiating. They were attended by the groom's brother, Mr. Steinberg, of St. Ansgar, and the bride's brother, Irvin Baumgartner, of Readlin, and Miss Deitrich, of Waverly. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Baumgartner. Like the groom, she attended the Waverly college, at Waverly. The groom is a stranger to us, but we hear only words of praise of him. After a short honeymoon trip, they will make their home at St. Ansgar.
