Clinton - Marlett marriage - 1928

Miss Lucy Marlett, daughter of F. L. Marlett, of McGregor, and Earl Clinton, of Elkader, son of Charles Clinton, of Oklahoma, were united in marriage last Sunday afternoon, August 19th, in the Evangelical parsonage by Rev. C. H. Franke. Witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Klink. The newlyweds left immediately for Oklahoma, where the groom's mother is ill, and after February 1st next year they will reside on a farm near Garnavillo.
