At the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Beerman, of this city, Monday evening, occurred the wedding of their daughter, Miss Hilda, to Mr. C. E. Strong, of Mead, Washington. Rev. J. Janzig, of St. John's Lutheran church, performed the ceremony. The bridesmaids were the Misses Ida Biederman, Mathilde Miller, Elsie Homan and Anna Borcherding. Mrs. R. Overbeck, sister of the bride, played the wedding march. The bride grew to womanhood here, attended our public schools, and later graduated from the Wisconsin Business University at La Crosse, Wis. For a time she was engaged as a stenographer and bookkeeper in La Crosse and also in Washington. She also has a very good musical education. The groom holds a position as mail carrier at Mead, Wash. The couple left Tuesday morning on a honeymoon trip, after which they will go to Mead, Wash., where they will reside.
