On Tuesday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents in this city, occurred the marriage of Miss Edna Hedemann to Mr. Otto Scholz. Justice W. H. Scholz officiated, and Mildred Ihm acted as ringbearer. Miss Hilda Overbeck and Mr. Reuben Kuempel, of this city, were the attendants. The wedding march was played by Miss Flonda Hedemann, sister of the bride. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hedemann, of this city, a graduate of the Guttenberg High School and has taught in the rural schools of Clayton County for some time. For the past year she has been engaged as a clerk in a Dubuque drug store. The groom is a son of Mrs. Charles Scholz, Sr., of this city, and was born and grew to manhood here. He has been engaged as a registered pharmacist at the Red Cross Drug Store at Dubuque, which place will be their home.
