Fire-The store house of Thomas L. Freeman, of Elkader, in Clayton County, Iowa, was burned down on Sunday evening last, about 12 o’clock P. M. Loss, about $6,000. Insured to the amount of $4,000. Mr. Carter’s building, adjacent, was injured to the amount of $200. The Post Office, together with all mail matters, was consumed.
