Miss Ada Leuchtenmacher, daughter of Mrs. John Leuchtenmacher of Elkader, and Gustav G. Olson, son of Mrs. Gilbert Olson, also of this place, were united in marriage at 10:00 a.m. in the Evangelical parsonage here Wednesday, Dec. 1, by Rev. C. H. Franke.
They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Philip Leuchtenmacher.
The bride, for some time past has been night operator at the local exchange of the N. W. Bell Telephone Co., and is a graduate of the Elkader High School. The groom is a member of the firm of Olson Bros., Co., proprietors of the local wood mill, and they have a host of friends who will join with the Register in wishing them happiness and prosperity thru wedded life.
Following the ceremony they left on a trip to Chicago and upon their return will be at home in the house on Second street, owned by the groom.
